Physics simulation expert Alexander Gustafsson arranged 999 CGI spheres in a spiral and gave each a different amount of bounciness. When he dropped them onto a flat surface, they produced fascinating patterns. Adding to the effect are color-based sounds, which make eerie sounds straight out of a horror movie. He’s also made a straight-line version.
